Wednesday 13 May 2026 — 2:00pm — Moot Court
Tomorrow, Te Piringa Student Events Association and Te Whakahiapo will be hosting a Meet and Greet with Māori Land Court Judge, Judge Alana Thomas. This meet and greet will also cover a Mooting Demonstration on a Māori land issue. All Te Piringa students are welcome to attend!
This is a great opportunity to meet with an eminent member of Aotearoa's judiciary, Judge Alana Thomas, in an engaging setting. Nau mai, haere mai to this special meet and greet, followed by a mooting demonstration centred on a contemporary Māori land issue, offering valuable insight into advocacy, legal reasoning, and issues at the intersection of law and tikanga Māori. We highly encourage Te Piringa students to attend and make the most of this rare chance to learn from and interact with a leading figure in the legal profession.
